Stepped and scarf joint repair geometries evaluated on 24-ply quasi-isotropic carbon fiber laminates. Covers substrate preparation, patch layup, vacuum bag cure, and mechanical coupon extraction for shear testing.

Lab Oven to Composite Vacuum Oven Conversion
A hands-on workshop build converting a standard laboratory oven into a composite curing vacuum oven. The modification involved drilling a through-body NPT fitting and plumbing a vacuum line to enable vacuum-bagged cure cycles.
